Gaming IRL. ARG.

So, I have been reading 'Reality is Broken' by Jane McGonigal. (This just on the heels of 'Ready Player One' by Ernie Cline), and it is a fantastic store of ideas about how to make reality more like a game. Gamers know that we've wanted this for years! In it, she mentioned a site called 'plusoneme.com' which allows us to give bonuses to our friends' real life stats based on things they do In Real Life. This is not an actual ARG (Alternate Reality Game), but it is a fun tool to bring gamishness to this reality. I am happily assigning pluses to my friends who deserve them, mainly as a way of drawing attention to this Seriously Awesome Concept.
